This past April 22nd, the world celebrated Earth Day, and at the Faith Community Forest (BCF), we chose to honor our planet the best way we know how: by giving back life through planting. On this special occasion, we had the privilege of joining forces with the Bliss Health community for a day filled with purpose and hope.

17 New Trees for Azalea Park

Thanks to the enthusiasm and commitment of the Bliss Health volunteers, we successfully planted 17 new trees. Each of these roots represents a shared commitment to the future of our community. This isn't just about beautifying the landscape; it’s about creating a legacy of clean air and shade for generations to come.

Nature and Wellness: A Vital Connection

Partnering with a healthcare organization like Bliss Health is no coincidence. At BCF, we are convinced that the health of the earth and human health are deeply intertwined. The trees we planted together will help:

Improve the air quality we breathe.

Reduce stress and improve the mental health of our neighbors.

Mitigate extreme heat, creating safer outdoor spaces for physical activity.

A Growing Commitment

As seen on our social media, the day was a true celebration of community collaboration. Seeing healthcare professionals and neighbors working shoulder to shoulder reminds us that caring for our common home is everyone's responsibility.

We are deeply grateful to Bliss Health for their willingness and for understanding that planting a tree is, in essence, an act of preventive medicine for the community.
