Bosque Comunitario de la Fe continues to grow in Azalea Park with new mango and avocado trees planted at local homes as part of the project’s planting goals.

During this planting activity, residents opened their homes to receive new trees and helped the project continue expanding to different areas of Azalea Park. Each new planting contributes to the development of the urban ecological corridor that Bosque Comunitario de la Fe is establishing within this Central Florida community.

Resident participation is an important part of this work. By receiving trees at their homes, local residents become directly involved in the continued growth and care of the project.

The Urban Ecological Corridor Continues to Grow

The new plantings represent another step in the development of Bosque Comunitario de la Fe and its work to expand the tree canopy in Azalea Park.

Mango and avocado trees were added during this planting activity, continuing the variety of species included throughout the project.

Planting trees at residents’ properties allows the ecological corridor to extend beyond a single location. Bosque Comunitario de la Fe continues to grow through planting sites distributed throughout the community, incorporating homes and other spaces into the project.

This approach allows the project to develop a growing network of trees throughout Azalea Park while advancing its goals related to tree canopy expansion and local biodiversity.

Residents Make Each Planting Possible

Bosque Comunitario de la Fe also depends on the participation of people who live in Azalea Park.

During this activity, participating residents provided space at their homes for the new trees and made it possible for planting work to continue directly within the community.

Their participation helps the project reach additional locations and provides more residents with an opportunity to become involved in planting activities.

Each participating home represents another point within the urban ecological corridor and another opportunity to expand the presence of trees throughout Azalea Park.

We thank the residents who welcomed the trees and helped make this stage of the project possible.

Continuing to Plant in Azalea Park

The new mango and avocado trees represent another step in the continued growth of Bosque Comunitario de la Fe.

The project continues working to expand the tree canopy, strengthen biodiversity, and develop an urban ecological corridor by adding new trees throughout the community.

This work includes the participation of Renacer Foundation with support from Biophilia Institute, Corpus Care, and Calao, along with the other organizations involved in the development of the project.

Bosque Comunitario de la Fe will continue identifying new planting locations and connecting with residents and volunteers interested in participating.

Residents who would like to volunteer or are interested in having a tree planted at their home can contact the project to learn about upcoming opportunities.
